Privacy policy
Last updated: August 22, 2026
This app has no accounts and no server, so there is very little to say — but AdSense, when enabled, brings in a real third party, and that deserves to be spelled out plainly rather than buried in a template nobody reads.
What stays on your device
Everything the app itself needs — which titles you have watched, your filters, sort order, language, and whether you have dismissed the notices below — lives in localStorage, in this browser only. None of it is sent anywhere. Clearing your browser data or using "Delete all progress" in Settings removes it completely.
The Movie Database (TMDB)
Posters, synopses and episode data are fetched from TMDB at build time and shipped as part of the app — browsing the app does not itself talk to TMDB. Poster and backdrop images are loaded from TMDB's own image servers as you scroll, which is a normal image request to a third party (see TMDB's own privacy policy for how they handle that).
themoviedb.org/privacy-policyAdvertising (Google AdSense)
Ads are off by default. Google's advertising library is present on every page — Google requires that, to verify the site — but it starts in a signalled "no consent" state (Google's Consent Mode) and no ad is requested, shown or measured, and no ad cookie is set, until consent says otherwise. If you're in the EEA, UK or Switzerland, Google's own consent message asks for that directly and manages the answer — this app has no separate banner or setting of its own for it, on purpose: that message correctly signals your choice to every advertiser bidding on the ad space, which a hand-built yes/no here could not. Outside those regions no such message applies. If you consent, Google AdSense may then set cookies and use device information to show and measure ads, including personalised ones; Google's own policies govern that, not this one — see Google's Privacy & Terms and, to control ad personalisation across every site that uses Google ads, Google's Ads Settings.
Your choices
Google's own consent message includes a way to revisit your answer — look for its link or icon on the page. Browser extensions that block third-party scripts or cookies work normally here; nothing in this app tries to detect or work around them.
Children
This app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect anything from them — there is nothing to collect in the first place beyond what stays on your own device.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters — mainly, if ads or any new third party get added — this page is updated and the date above moves. There is no mailing list to notify, since the app has no accounts.
